We’re always sneaking new things into Fashionising without much hoo-hah. So now we’ll make official two of the more recent additions to the fashion industry community;
Casting Calls for models, photographers, stylists, make-up artists… in fact everyone in the fashion industry.
The Fashionising Newsletter keeping everyone up to date with the latest fashion, trends, lifestyle, special offers, and events.
In brief: Our recent coverage of Lily Allen’s fashion collection for New Look has brought Fashionising to the attention of MTV.
If you head over to Rogue’s Lifestyle Blog this evening you’ll find that it’s undergone some cosmetic surgery.
Nothing too drastic, however, we’ve felt it’s been in need of a few tweaks to take us through 2007. Of course, a few tweaks for us are usually fairly major - and never final. We’ve got one design up, and another one already on the go.
Look out for some new viral marketing features by way of ‘Add to Digg’ and ‘Add to Lipstick’ buttons (I can’t wait until we have a style spy version) and a much neater feel.
A lot of mental effort (as well as physical effort) went into creating Fashionising out of Rogue Connect, most of which revolved around whether it really was time to take the testing bed which was the latter and launch the former.
Well we’re pleased to say, it’s paid off.
March was the largest month ever for any Rogue Ménage initiative, with Fashionising quadrupling traffic over its predecessor. We’re still crunching the numbers, but it appears to have been largely thanks to a bevy of new features, giving our new members the ability to do more, especially the Fashion Diary.
If you’re after our ‘What Impressed Us’ feature, or wondering where it’s got to, it’s now become a part of Rogue’s Lifestyle Blog over at Fashionising.
The move is a part of the major changes we’re implementing to our various fashion and lifestyle initiatives, with quite a few more changes coming soon.
To help the spread of Fashionising we’ve made available custom URLs for the first time.
From here on in members can select an easy-to-remember URL to point there friends towards. This should also be of great use to models and designers look to promote themselves to the industry.

Okay, this one is a day late so you’re going to have to excuse us. It was a public holiday yesterday and… who are we kidding. We were finally catching up on sleep after Fashionising’s extensive coverage of L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. To put it into perspective, the festival is over and we still haven’t got through all the photos we took.
But back to style spy’s best items for the week.
style spy has now received 1041 trend and fashion suggestions, with over 6550 votes having been cast.
The Social Networking Weblog is asking if cliques are the wave of the future. We certainly think so.
It’s been a key element in our development of Fashionising, our social network created for those who love fashion and/or work in the industry. Fashionising is itself a clique, it’s a site built for a community with a niche interesting. But we also realise that fashion is not enough of a commonality - people’s tastes are too different. So we’ve also built individual cliques as a feature into Fashionising. They’re available to those members who have other interests, more specific interests.

At the same time, we’ve launched our coverage of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival with coverage of the Levante and Jonathan Aston show.
With a quarter of the year almost gone there’s a massive influx of clothing from all the fashion show happenings, so we’re seeing many new trends hit style spy. But what’s impressing our members?
Despite all the submissions since January, the Apple iPhone still can’t be shaken and remains the hottest item out there. The hottest trend remains the Mini-dress trend, and Kate Moss remains our darling.
style spy now has 243 trend spotters, and 1010 items have been suggested. In total it’s recorded 6444 votes.
