Rogue Is The New Black

A preview of our upcoming social fashion network, Fashionising.com, is now online.

Scheduled for full release in April, the current preview is open to registration and features a bevvy of new tools haven’t included in any of our past initiatives. These include;

• Cliques
• Fashion Diary mash-up, pulling fashion related content from Flickr and YouTube
• Broadcasts

Of course, we have many more up our sleeve and you can expect to see them before our April launch.

Earlier today style spy received its 1,000th submission.

The thousandth submission were Miu Miu Leather and glitter ballet pumps.

While the second issue of Seventh Sin, also known as the Lingerie Issue, has already seen physical distribution we haven’t quite managed to get the online incarnation up yet.

Rest assured, we are working on it. Truth be known it’s been delayed by our work on Fashionising; but you can expect to see them both next week.

Today we’ve begun experimenting with a new feature in Rogue’s Lifestyle Blog, Daily Desires.

For the time being, and only if we consider the feature as having added value, we’ll be highlighting one fashion or culture item a day in the blog. Of course, the aim isn’t to take away from the blog’s existing content but rather to add to it.

As a part of the content experiment, we’ll be added each item to style spy to see what interaction we can cause between the two initiatives.
First up today is a ruffle skirt from designer Philip Lim.

You may have noticed that late last week we snuck a new category into Rogue Menage’s blog - Fashionising.

You’re going to be hearing a lot from us about Fashionising in the near future.

Until then (and by then, we probably mean tomorrow) we’re keeping mum.

The Apple iPhone hasn’t budged from the top of the top list. The mini dress trend remains the most popular on style spy, while the most popular celebrity outfit is Kate Moss’ vintage white dress.

An accessory has again taken out the top spot in this weeks ‘What Impressed Us’ list, after the Roberto Cavalli Laser Cut Metallic Clutch topped the list last week.

The Apple iPhone remains top of the top list, while the most popular fashion entry is a street style look featuring a mix of denim mini-skirt, tailored jacket, and an umbrella. The mini dress trend remains the most popular on style spy, while side-parted hair has risen to be the most popular hair trend.

We’re pretty chuffed right now. With no advertising, and only by means of word of mouth, style spy has reached the 200 user mark today.

In total they’ve voted over 5,700 times on 896 trends and fashion items.

I remain the most prolific apparently. Kate Moss remains the sexiest and most stylish person. Think she’d be willing to swap qualities with me?

After being featured in the MX newspaper it’s been a busy week for style spy, but an injection of dedicated fashion audience has certainly helped influence current fashion trends. Unsurprisingly it was this weeks big announcement of Stella McCartney designing a range for Target that most influenced trends.
